Carillion: Jobs update
Overview
Since 15 January PwC has been supporting the Official Receiver on the liquidation of Carillion, helping to ensure the continuity of important public services and safeguarding thousands of jobs across the country. Here's an update on the progress to date*:
Overall we have helped save 11,351 jobs
Thats 11 jobs for every 2 redundancies
* as well as the 11,300+ jobs transferred to other employers, some 3,145 remain in the business, another 1,094 have left through ‘natural attrition’ (ie finding new work, retirement or other reasons) and some 2,022 been made redundant.
