Student clubs and societies

Are you a student club or society at a UK university looking for funding to support future plans and initiatives? If so, PwC is giving you the chance to take part in our new initiative that could help you bring those plans to life.

We have lots of information and opportunities we think will be really useful to your members.

To be in with the chance to secure a donation of £1,000, we’d like you to share our pre-written social media posts and/or emails with your society members. These posts will provide your members with information on our opportunities and events.

Please note that the deadline for this year has now passed, but please keep an eye on our website to see when we reopen in the autumn.

Univerity of Manchester Pakistan Society

Congratulations to The University of Manchester Pakistan Society who received £1,000 as part of our autumn initiative.

The funds will go towards events they’re hosting throughout their February Culture month. Society members can enjoy classes on the history of Pakistan, take part in a sports day consisting of sports played nationally, and even take part in a culture night featuring a fashion show, showcasing the different traditional dress worn throughout the country.

Once a notified winner has claimed their donation, PwC will contact them to arrange payment of the financial donation.

In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules, the conduct, results or any other matters relating to the prize draw, PwC’s decision will be final and binding, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into. PwC reserves the right in its reasonable discretion: (a) to disqualify any entrant or winner whose conduct is contrary to the spirit of the Rules or the intention of the financial donation, and to declare as void any or all of their entry forms or donation claims based on such conduct; (b) to declare as void any entry forms or the donation draw itself resulting from any printing, production and/or distribution errors (including but not limited to any error(s) in PwC, this website or any printed materials) or where there has been error(s) in any aspect of the preparation for or conduct of the donation draw materially affecting its result or the number of entrants or the value of the donation; (c) to amend or to waive any of these Rules on reasonable notice; and/or (d) to cancel the donation draw or any part of it at any stage in the event of circumstances beyond PwC's reasonable control or where it becomes necessary to do so. Insofar as is permitted by law, PwC, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the donation except where it is caused by the negligence of PwC, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Entrants’ statutory rights are not affected.

Data protection and publicity

Following the award of the donation, PwC will publish the name of the winning club or society and their claimed prize at [https://www.pwc.co.uk/careers/early-careers/clubs-and-society.html]. By submitting an entry form or email, entrants consent to PwC publishing their club or society name, their university, and the donation on this website in the event they are a winner, and to PwC providing this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
