PwC’s New World. New Skills Work Experience programme

We’re excited to welcome you to apply to our paid work experience programme.

The programme will take place from Monday 4 August to Thursday 7 August 2025. You’re expected to attend the full programme which will be spent face-to-face in your local PwC office.

You’ll gain an insight into how we work at PwC, interact with our staff, develop your skills and work on a business project across the week. You’ll be provided with a PwC laptop for the duration of the programme. 

Our work experience placements offer an hourly pay from £12.67 and we’ll also cover your lunches and all reasonable travel expenses. 

Eligibility

In line with our commitment to Social Mobility, this programme is targeted at students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. As such, the eligibility criteria for students is as follows

You must currently be in Year 12 (in England and Wales, Year 13 in Northern Ireland and S5 in Scotland)

  • Attend a state school or college.

  • Be on course for a 96 UCAS tariff from across your top three A-Levels in any subject or equivalent qualification (excluding General Studies and the EPQ).

AND

  • Are or have been eligible for free school meals in the last six years.

OR

  • The occupation of your main household earner when you were aged 14 is categorised as a lower socio-economic background.

Application process

We invite eligible candidates to apply for this exciting opportunity by submitting their applications as soon as possible. As part of the application process, candidates will be required to successfully complete an online test. We will be in contact with the outcome of your application by the end of May. If you’re not successful, you’ll be offered a place on our Virtual Insight Programme which takes place from Monday 29 to Wednesday 31 July 2025.
