Women in Business

Hero image

Through our Women in Business programme you’ll complete a three-day paid programme, which could lead to a Summer Internship at PwC.

Female talent is currently underrepresented in our industry with only 25% of equity partners at PwC being female. Although 42% of 2023 equity partner promotions and 45% of PwC’s 2024 graduate intake were female, there’s still work to be done.

Open to all, this vacancy is aimed primarily at inspiring and supporting women seeking an experience in professional services as part of our commitment to improve our gender balance by showcasing some of our female leaders. The programme focuses on developing confidence and skills and provides an insight into the opportunities available at PwC.

Through our Women in Business programme you’ll complete a three-day programme which could lead to an offer to re-join us on a Summer Internship in 2026.

What you'll do

During this in-person three-day paid programme you’ll get an insight into what a career at PwC could look like. You’ll meet mentors and buddies who’ll represent the variety of opportunities available across PwC. You’ll also meet some of our female colleagues to hear about their own personal career journeys, as well as hear from some of our networks focused on Inclusion and Diversity. Through interactive sessions the programme will help you to develop confidence in a business setting and encourage you to bring your whole self to the workplace. At PwC, we nurture an environment where our people can be the best they can be.

As our Women in Business programme will be an in-person three-day paid programme, you’ll need to be in the UK in order to take part.

Programme dates:

The Women in Business programme runs in spring. The exact dates for 2025 are to be confirmed.

Office Locations

You’ll need to apply to your chosen Line of Service, and we’ll ask for your office preference locations during the recruitment process. If you successfully complete the recruitment process we’ll then let you know which office you’ll be based in during the three-day programme. Please be aware that we may not be able to offer you your top office location.

Please make sure to note the specific office locations in the job description where we are able to offer this programme before applying.

What you'll need

Our opportunities are only available for first year students on a three-year degree (or second year students on a four-year degree) for our first year roles. Please make sure you check the job description to ensure you’re eligible for that specific role.

By submitting an application, you are confirming that you will be available to complete a Summer Internship in 2026 should you receive a subsequent offer.

This programme is open to students from any degree discipline. You'll need to be on track to pass an undergraduate degree or above in any subject. We determine whether you're on course to pass based on the grades you achieved in your last completed year of academic study.

If you’re not currently studying towards a degree unfortunately you’ll not be eligible for this programme but don’t forget to look at our School and College Leaver opportunities.

How to apply

To join the Women in Business programme, you'll need to complete the first two stages of our selection process; the online tests and video interview.

Roles are filled on an ongoing basis unless otherwise stated on the job description. We may close to new applications if we’ve received a high volume of applications so we therefore recommend applying early. Please take note of the completion deadlines in your invitation email for every application stage.

If you're successful we’ll let you know by the beginning of March and you'll then be invited to the three-day paid spring programme.
