Designed by consulting practitioners and our Learning and Development specialist team, you’ll have the chance to develop the mindset, skills, knowledge and behaviours required of consulting associates at PwC.
Mirroring PwC’s hybrid working approach, weeks one, three and four of Consulting Essentials will be residential where you’ll be on site at a hotel from Monday to Friday. Weeks two and five are virtual where you’ll be working from home or the office.
Our in-depth induction programme will accelerate your capabilities, ensuring you can deliver value from the moment you are assigned to your first project. This will be made possible due to the knowledge, skills and behaviours you’ll have developed on Consulting Essentials which will start you on your journey of developing into a well-rounded consultant.
The induction is delivered by tutors from our consulting business alongside experienced external facilitators. It will involve practical hands-on learning, theory and a case study as well as the opportunity to network and build up your peer support network. The experience will enable you to:
develop the confidence and skills to be proactive about exhibiting the core expectations and behaviours as an associate in consulting
use, engage with, suggest and be innovative with emerging technologies
participate and contribute in meeting and workshop scenarios
begin to build and develop a professional network of colleagues
recognise how Consulting fits into PwC and how you’ll contribute to its success
become familiar with the systems and tools we use.
The environment will foster psychological safety and champion individual differences. Learners will feel comfortable sharing their voice and being their authentic selves. The environment will be fun and engaging, bringing ‘reimagining the possible’ to life through innovative experiences.
Final details of your induction will be communicated to you approximately a month before your start date.
